Today, President Trump signed an Executive Order establishing a commission to study “election integrity.” He announced that Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach would co-chair the commission with VP Pence. This is truly insane.
The ACLU is having none of this.

So, this is pretty cool. Omar Jadwat is the Director of the ACLU’s Immigration Rights Project. He’s in Richmond because the legal battle over Trump’s travel/Muslim ban takes a big step tomorrow right here in Richmond. Lawyers for the ACLU will be arguing against lawyers from the U.S. Department of Justice in a federal courthouse in Richmond. So, Jadwat got into town today and he ran across the Valentine First Freedom Center which is downtown in Richmond. As if the ACLU needed any more inspiration…
