Apple introduced the new iPhone today, and they touted face recognition as a security feature…
DUE TO COMPANY PASSWORD POLICY WE WILL BE REQUIRING ALL STAFF WHO GET THE NEW IPHONE TO HAVE THEIR FACE SURGICALLY ALTERED EVERY 90 DAYS

House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, in discussing the health care bill put forth by the GOP, made the following remark:
Americans have choices, and they’ve got to make a choice. So rather than getting that new iPhone that they just love and want to go spend hundreds of dollars on that, maybe they should invest in their own health care.
It’s an awful statement on a lot of levels, and, appropriately, he received some heat for it on Twitter. I selected just a few tweets to highlight.
First, a little humor from Mr. George Wallace:
Does Jason Chaffetz's health insurance cover an iPhone up his ass?

Next, investigative journalist Lee Fang digs up a little dirt on Mr. Chaffetz that’s just, uh, hoooo boy!

Finally, Danny Zuker, Writer/Producer of the TV show Modern Family, hits perfectly on how telling Chaffetz’s remark is.
Chaffetz's iPhone comment shows what the GOP believes. The poor are irresponsible. The rich work harder. All policy flows from this lie.
