We had a day on today, capped by a whole-school banner drop at the T-Pot bridge: Honor MLK-Build Bridges Between One Another #MLKDAY#RVA pic.twitter.com/2LhPMqHVQI

Easiest decision yet. Today, for MLK Day, my whole family participated in the event mentioned in the tweet. The kids had worked really hard on making the sign and it was unfurled across Richmond’s brand new pedestrian bridge. Pictures and video were taken by drone and by a father of two of the school’s students who was in a kayak in the river. One local news station did a nice job documenting the event.
Particularly on days like today, I’m really proud to be a member of the Sabot at Stony Point school community.
