I’m no health care policy expert, but I’ve followed the developments over the AHCA and BCRA very closely. It has become perfectly clear that the GOP is simply trying to come through on a campaign promise. That’s it; they don’t care about the quality of the legislation at this point. They just feel they have to do something because they said they would. The bills have been incredibly unpopular and panned widely by experts and health care workers and organizations. And yet…
